2 Months already

I can't believe my little Man is already 2 months old...TODAY!!! He has his 2 month apt this friday so I will update with his stats then!

What Wyatt has been up to...

cooing, smiling, giggling. He loves when you go bzzzz bzzzz...like a bee. He gets the biggest smiles on his little face, the ones that show gums and ALL.

It takes everything within him to belt out loud coos, which just melts my heart.

He is a very happy boy...he gets fussy when he is either hungry or tired.

Sleeping anywhere from 5-7hrs for his first span at night and then anywhere from 3-4 the next span.

He's eating anywhere from 2-4 ounces but still closer to 2 ounces. He's long and lean. Unlike his sister. She was long and CHUBS!! But we shall see. Long fingers, arms and legs!!

Loves chewing on his hands. Loves his sister. Content being in pretty much any one's arms (also unlike sister).

LOVES his walks in the Bjorn. Loves and has to be swaddled to sleep and in the car seat (otherwise he cries the entire car ride). Loves his papasan vibrating chair...especially in the evenings OUTSIDE.

Wyatt has been to the beach a few times this summer, been to the movies with Mommy and Daddy on a date, the lagoon, different restaurants, VBS, Target, Walmart, Stater Brothers, the Hyatt, Main Street, many walks, park and friend's houses.

Nicknames include....bubs (which daddy calls him and we all have picked up), bubbies and bubbas (emma came up with) and my little man (what I tend to refer to him as).

He is amazing and such a blessing in our lives! Happy 2 Months Bubs!! Mommy, Daddy and Sissy love and adore you!

My Little Princess



We were so blessed to get out of the heat and enjoy some fun at the beach. Emma loved the pool. She got to make smores with daddy for the first time. She enjoyed sleeping in a very BIG bed which she had ALL to herself. Wyatt slept in his swing, enjoyed being close in the bjorn and relaxed poolside. All in all it was a great trip! Our first trip with two!! Wyatt's first hotel stay!

We had a great time hanging out with Grama and enjoyed the much cooler weather in the OC! Grama was house and pet sitting for some family friends.

Planting seeds....

Yesterday Emma spent some time with Daddy planting some flower seeds. We shall see what grows.

This blog is dedicated to today and 3 year olds. After a day like today, I must blog. All I can say is that I'm so glad the day is over. I can tell that Emma is definitely beginning to notice that her baby brother is coming and coming soon. Today was completely exhausting, tantrum after tantrum. At one point she threw up foam.....is this normal? Don't think so. We started the day with a walk to the park with Tracy, Mandalay and Tre. At the park she saw baby rabbits.....eyes still closed and all! We came home.....tantrum.....ate lunch, watered her seeds.....tantrum. Tantrum (screaming so hard she threw up foam), rested for awhile with mommy, tantrum. Finally got out of the house to run an errand, tantrum. Fell asleep in car on way home, tantrum (while I made her and myself dinner and I ate my dinner). Then she finally calmed down and ate her dinner. Daddy came home. Mild tantrum. Daddy did bath time and bedtime.


Way too many tantrums. Trying to reflect on the day, of course there were moments that I wouldn't want to erase from my memory BUT it would have been sooo extremely nice to not have had SO many excruciating tantrums today.

Praying for a happier and more peaceful day tomorrow. If not for Emma and I....definitely for Wyatt. I'm sure he wants to stay in the womb at this point!

Easter 2009

Here is a glimpse of our Easter! We First went to church. Came home quickly to discover that the Easter Bunny had stopped by. We then changed and hit the road to Huntington Beach. We had fun in Huntington Beach at Kev's Aunt and Uncle's swimming and eating Easter Dinner. Emma enjoyed Kev's cousin Madison who is 10. Emma was her little shadow the entire time!! Gave me a break!

Disneyland Trip

So I'm really enjoying photography these days. I'm in the process of saving and researching different SLRs. I was told by a friend about editing photos with Picasa and I am having SO much fun with it! This photo was taken last week at Disneyland with my Point and Shoot and I just edited with Picasa! LOVE it!!!

Easter is here....

Emma had so much fun dying Easter eggs today! Here she is checking out her creations. She is also on her 3rd day of wearing panties in a row!! We drove to San Diego today to visit some friends and then a Walmart run on the way home......NO accidents ALL day long!
